Mini bio
A mid-westerner originally from Ohio, I have eight years of experience on four continents. I have worked in Paris, United States, India, North Africa and Democratic Republic of Congo. A list of other places I have visited includes Hungary, Italy, Germany, UK, Puerto Rico, Belgium, The Netherlands, France. I have spent the majority of my career working for entrepreneurs, NGOs and non-profits meaning I am used to a hands-on, multi-tasking, wear-many-hats environment. My professional and personal interests usually collide, and I am especially passionate about education, art, travel and doing my small part to help the world. Other things about me
I bake at least one quiche a week. I run, but I prefer zumba, hip hop or some other form of organized dance. Love black and white movies from the 1930s and fear the day when I've seen them all. A few of my goals are: seeing the other 3 continents (although to be honest I can let Antarctica slide), writing a book, walking El Camino in Spain. With a friend in Italy I co-founded an initiative to "encourage girls and women to live a life of equality and dignity through the power of communication."
