Spring Love | Gentle Yoga (online class)

Let's shake off winter and welcome spring with yoga! This class will be online (zoom). Beginners and all levels welcome! All proceeds from class will be donated to Girls, Inc.

We'll move through gentle heart-opening poses and focus on our breath to rejuvenate the mind and body. No props are required, although having a yoga mat (or a non-slip surface area) to practice is recommended.

This class will be a combination of traditional Hatha Yoga with some Gentle Flow. Historically, Hatha Yoga really encompasses all yoga. But more recently Hatha Yoga has come to mean slower-paced yoga that focuses on the breath. A Vinyasa Flow class is usually faster paced, and possibly a little more rigorous. Gentle flow yoga incorporates vinyasa movement, but in a softer way.

This class will be a mix of both Hatha and Gentle Flow! The main goal is to connect with our breath, and possibly with ourselves, as we move through various yoga poses including multiple heart-opening poses to open ourselves up to a new season.

Find a quiet place and join from the comfort of your home on Sunday, March 17 at 9am Pacific time.

All proceeds from the class will be donated to Girls,Inc. Girls, Inc. is a non-profit on a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. The donation amount is up to you, but if you'd like a recommendation: $5-$15.
